Identify the posts that attract more likes and comments and note. Who exactly your audience is? what they like. And the topics your highest engagement posts revolve around. On spotting trends in your posts with the highest engagement,. You should continue to post similar content to see if you can keep up the trend.

For those with a business profile, you can take advantage of the built-in analysis feature and find out more about your audience or followers’ demographics: their age range, gender, kind of posts they engage more, likes, dislikes, when they are most active and more.

Posting at the right time

You should study the time your audience seems to be more active on the platform. Certain apps can also help with this, providing you with enough analytics. In knowing when your audience is most active, it is also proper that you post at such times.

Generally, very early in the morning, around lunch, and in the early evenings are the best times to make posts on Instagram. Weekends too are great days to make posts since they are not necessarily working days and people tend to have more time as such.

Encourage users to like, comment, and follow

Encouraging your audience to engage is the way to go. It is not just enough to post great content and assume the followers or audience will engage. The more engagement you get, the higher the chances you will show up on the Explore or Discover page.
