1. Using a web browser, open the web address mynetid.rice.edu
2. On the homepage that opens, go to the right-hand side and click on the link Start by activating your NetID
3. Once you click on the link, a signup page will appear. On that page, enter the following:
4. Your Rice ID number, your ID number is on your ID card or in your welcome letter.
5. Next, select your date of birth
6. Enter your first and last name. your name must be the same with the one you used to register at the Human Resources department.
7. Finally, click submit
8. Follow the remaining steps to complete your activation process.
9. Once your NetId is activated, you can then perform a Rice webmail login into your account.
